Field Detachable Cable Maximizes Adaptability
of Miniature Pressure Transducer Family
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. - July 3, 2003 - Endevco's
8510/8530 family of miniature pressure transducers
now supports a four pin detachable cable. This configuration
is ideal for those applications where the transducer
has to be removed and re-installed repeatedly.
These sensors feature a 3.8mm face diameter, 10-32
mounting thread, and are available in ranges from
15 through 2,000psi. They provide superior dynamic
pressure measurement for aerospace, automotive and
industrial applications that require small size, high
sensitivity and wideband frequency response.
To provide maximum sensitivity and wideband frequency
response, these units integrate a four-arm strain
gage bridge into a unique sculptured silicon diaphragm.
A self-contained hybrid temperature compensation system
provides stable performance over the temperature range
of 0° F to 200° F (-18° C to +93°
C), while maintaining high stability during temperature
transients. They also feature excellent linearity
to 3x range and high shock resistance.
Endevco is the world's leading designer and manufacturer
of dynamic instrumentation for vibration, shock and
pressure measurement. The company's comprehensive
line of piezoelectric, piezoresistive, ISOTRON(r)
and variable capacitance accelerometers are used to
solve measurement problems in a wide variety of industries
including aerospace, automotive, defense, medical,
industrial and marine. Other products include pressure
transducers, microphones, electronic instruments,
and calibration systems.
Endevco has a factory-direct sales force in the U.S.
and is represented in the rest of the world by Brüel
& Kjær. Brüel & Kjær has
